Modeling this after CPR is a good idea and easy to remember
This class has good valuable education to what I already know. Thank you.
Well informed and detailed answers with our questions. Also roleplay was a good way to feel reactions.
Doug and Stephanie did a great job of presenting QPR program to us. I feel more confident in helping someone.
This will help so much in what I do for a living. Thank you so much.
I really liked this program it was very knowledgable
I feel better equiped to handle future intervention.
This workshop is very practical and usable. I now have good tools to know what to do when I am concerned.
I felt like the training was useful for the professional and closer to home
I attended the ASIST workshop held at the Kroc Center in Salem on 01/26/17 - 01/27/17. The workshop was excellent. The workbook and tools were so helpful. Suicide is a difficult subject to talk about so I really appreciated the discussions and activities that provided participants an opportunity to practice having an open dialog about suicide, as well as learning how to put into practice the skills outlined in the PAL model. The trainers (Mark, Loren, and Doug) were very encouraging and supportive to participants throughout the learning process. I am sending a BIG thanks to them all. I have encouraged staff to attend.
Makes you realize how simple it is to make a great impact on someone.
